Allison Cohen
I’m a PhD candidate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Utah, where I’m advised by Dr. Jason Burrow-Sánchez. I currently provide outpatient behavioral health services as a rehabilitation psychology extern at the Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital and am an instructor for the Department of Educational Psychology.
I’m interested in the prevention and treatment of substance use in adolescent and adult populations, as well as the effects of climate change and eco-emotions on physical and mental health. In my free time you can find me running, baking, reading, and taking photos. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2018 with dual degrees in Program in the Environment and International Studies.
